Dear Iowa Hotel Members,
The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA) was proud to welcome the Iowa Hotel & Lodging Association (IHLA), a dedicated advocate representing the interests of hospitality professionals in the state when and where it matters most, into membership earlier this year.
A thriving hotel industry is critical to strong local economies, and strong state and local hotel associations are critical to a thriving hotel industry. This newly formed non-profit trade association is actively building membership and has started to engage in initiatives which fulfill its mission to protect, promote, educate and advocate on behalf of the state’s 700+ hotels and lodging establishments.
We are thrilled to welcome the IHLA to the growing AHLA family. An AHLA membership is an investment in the hotel industry’s future, and we look forward to ensuring Iowa hoteliers and hotel employees have a powerful voice and a seat at the table when and where it matters.
